  1. Are there any setup fees?

    Absolutely not — there are no upfront fees of any kind. We're not that kind of people.

  2. Is this a long-term commitment?

    Nope — you simply pay per transaction for the services you use. You can cancel your Kareo account at any time.

  3. Are your prices per–practice, per–provider, or per–user?

    We charge a subscription fee based upon the number of active providers (i.e. physicians or other healthcare providers) setup on your account and you can add and remove providers at any time. There are no additional per–practice or per–user charges - it doesn't matter if you have 1 practice or 20 practices and it also doesn't matter if 1 person or 100 people are using it.

  4. Can I change subscription editions at any time?

    Yes — and it's really easy. Simply login to your account and you'll see your options. Plus, we'll never charge you a "set–up" or extra "one-time" fee when you upgrade or downgrade.

  5. What are the system requirements for Kareo?

    Since all of your data is hosted on our servers, all you need is a modern Windows PC with a high speed Internet connection such as DSL, cable modem, or T1. The minimum requirements are a Windows PC with a 1 GHz Intel Pentium III processor, Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system or newer, 1024x768 screen resolution, 17 inch monitor, and 256 MB RAM. We recommend, however, that you use a recent PC with a 2 GHz Intel Pentium 4, Pentium D, or Core processor, Microsoft Vista, 1280x1024 screen resolution, 19 inch monitor or larger, and 1GB RAM.

  6. What types of payment do you accept? Can you invoice us?

    Currently we accept credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, and we also accept direct debit payments if you supply us with your bank account information. In order to keep our price as low as it is, we will not be able to invoice you for your Kareo service fees.

  7. How do I get customer support?

    Kareo offers convenient self–service customer support resources at no additional charge with every subscription. This includes online help, user manuals, self–paced training guides, more than 7 hours of training videos, web‐based clearinghouse and payer enrollment tools, and a user community message board. If you require additional help from the Kareo customer support team, we provide premium email support plans. Typically, our customers will upgrade to a premium support plan if they have ongoing training questions or if they require electronic claims assistance and expect to receive regular help from us.

  8. Can you import my data into Kareo?

    Yes. Our programmers offer data import services that are customized to your needs and start at $1,000.00. You provide us with your data in either a Comma–Separated Value (.CSV) or Microsoft Excel (.XLS) file format. Then our engineers review your requirements and provide a quote based on your unique needs.
