Rob Pickell is Kareo’s Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for marketing, sales, and strategic alliances. Rob is passionate about the value and importance of small practices in delivering healthcare in the US, and his mission is to spread the word on how Kareo can help small medical practices prosper and grow by leveraging Kareo’s innovative, cloud-based medical office software solution.
Prior to joining Kareo, Rob was Chief Marketing Officer, SVP Strategy for HireRight, a cloud-based human capital management solution provider. He drove HireRight’s growth strategy, helping the company achieve the number one global share position in its industry, made possible by 500% growth during his tenure at the company. While at HireRight, Rob led a variety of functions, including strategy, marketing, product management, professional services, sales, and customer engagement. He was a frequent contributor to media stories and authored numerous articles on key industry trends and topics.
Prior to HireRight, Rob held a variety of leadership positions at technology companies, including Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Quantum Corp., a global supplier of data storage systems, Executive Vice President, General Manager of Escrow.com, a financial services company providing online transaction settlement solutions, Vice President of Partner Marketing for Stamps.com, a provider of online mailing and shipping products, and as Group Director of Marketing and Channel Development for Verizon Wireless (then AirTouch). Rob’s prior experience also includes working as a Project Consultant for the Center for Applied Research, a management consulting firm specializing in corporate strategy and organizational development, and as an Associate Consultant for Hewitt, a human resources consulting and services organization.
Rob graduated with a B.A. in Economics with department honors from Pomona College, and with an M.B.A. with distinction from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
