In part 2 of this blog series on Google reviews we'll cover even more tips to create a consistently awesome online reputation. First and foremost, we'll cover another tip on having more patients review you and then we'll talk about what to do once you have reviews.

MAKE IT VISIBLE OFFLINE

You should include information about your Google page in your brick and mortar business location. A great way to do this is to encourage your customers to leave a Google review whenever they are at the point of sale (meaning, when they are leaving your practice & paying for their services). Your employees can also remind customers to leave feedback of their experience whenever the transaction is being made. Placing a message asking for customers to leave a Google review on their receipt is another method of accomplishing this.

RESPOND TO YOUR REVIEWS

Customers are going to notice when your business values their input, and their feedback shouldn’t fall on deaf ears. It is extremely important to take the time to address negative feedback as well. You want to give your perspective on whatever issues arise, otherwise it will look as though your business doesn’t appreciate or respect your customers’ experiences. So make sure you check your reviews and respond to them just as you would on yelp.

The goal is to respond in a way that leaves both the reviewer and future customers satisfied. Of course, you won’t be able to appease everyone’s wishes, but taking the time to respond is crucial to your reputation. Hootsuite has some effective tips on how to respond to negative feedback

There are also tools you can use to monitor the reviews you’re receiving in order to make it easier to respond to all of your customers. Apps such as Reputology can set up review streams in the dashboard where you can follow and respond to the reviews coming from Google.

PROMOTE YOUR GOOGLE+ IN OTHER SOCIAL NETWORKS

If you’ve established your online presence, then you definitely want to make sure your Google page is being promoted on other avenues of social media. You want to make sure all of your customers are being reminded to check out your Google page, and reaching out to other social media outlets is a solid way to do so. It certainly doesn’t hurt to ask for reviews on other social media platforms as well (in an effective way, of course).
