Claim Rejection: CLAIM LEVEL DATE IS MISSING OR INVALID
To correct: "Error Message: REJECTED AT CLEARINGHOUSE CLAIM LEVEL DATE IS MISSING OR INVALID"
RESOLUTION:
Add “Accident Date” AND check “other” box
*Delete DOI information if entered
- In the Edit Claim window of the rejected claim, double-click on the Case name. This opens the Edit Case window.
- Select the Condition tab.
- Under the Dates section, verify the Type and Dates entered.
- Make the appropriate corrections. See below.
- When finished, click Save.
- To remove an incorrect date:
- Click once on the date.
- Right-click and select Remove.
- To add the correct date:
- In the Date Type drop-down menu, select the desired date type.
- In the Start Date field, enter or select the date in the drop-down menu.
- In the End Date field, enter or select the date in the drop-down menu if applicable.
- Make sure to click on the Add button.
