Reporting Options
Use the Report Options task to set the closing date on all reports generated by the system. The purpose of setting the report closing date is to give the billing company the flexibility of controlling what the client is able to view within the reports at any given time.
Say, for example, the billing company is delayed in processing claims, payments, refunds, etc.; the billing specialist can opt to adjust the closing date to an earlier date to give them additional time to catch up with the workload.
To set the report closing date, do the following:
1. On the Settings menu, click Options and then click Reporting Options to open the task.
2. Enter the report closing date using the format "MM/DD/YYYY" (e.g. 06-15-2005).
3. Once you enter a the date, click Save on the Task Button Bar; or to exit from the task without saving the new entry, click Cancel or press the Esc key on your keyboard.
