Notes to a Patient Record
The "Notes" section under the "General" tab of a patient record allows journalizing capabilities. Each note added to the patient record will appear as a separate entry. The user will be able to easily track the originator of a note that has been added, as well as the date and time the note was entered.
This feature also provides the ability to show or hide specific notes. Although you are always free to enter a note, the ability to hide or show a note that has been added to a record will be based on the permissions granted to you by the application administrator.
If your user permissions allow you to show or hide a specific note, a button will be displayed in the upper right of the note block. To hide a note previously entered, click the Hide Note button to the right of a note. To show all hidden notes, click Show Hidden Notes button on the upper right of the "Notes" section.
Once a new note has been added to a patient record, be sure to click the Save button to save the new entry.
