Find Referring Physician

Follow these steps to find an existing referring physician record:

1. On the Settings menu, click Other Lists>Find Referring Physicians. This opens the Find Referring Physician task (or browser), which displays the list of referring physicians.

2. Use the Search Bar at the top of the browser to locate the referring physician.

To search for a referring physician record, do the following:

In the Look For box, enter a single or partial-name identifier (e.g., first or last name); or enter the last 4 digits of the physician's phone number, or the physicians email address.)
Select the field you wish to search across from the drop-down list in the Search In box (e.g., All fields, Name, Office Phone, Mobile Phone, Home Phone, or Email).
Click the Find Now button to execute the search.

3. Once you find the referring physician, double-click on the record to view it; or click once on the record and then click the Open button.

4. To close the record, press the Esc key on your keyboard. This returns you to the Find Referring Physician browser.

5. To close the browser, press the Esc key again.
