Find Procedure Modifier Code

Follow these steps to find an existing procedure modifier code:

1. On the Settings menu, click Codes>Find Procedure Modifiers. This opens the Find Procedure Modifier task (or browser), which displays the list of procedure modifier codes.

2. Use the Search Bar at the top of the browser to locate the procedure modifier code.

To search for a procedure modifier code, do the following:

In the Look For box, enter the code or partial code (number), or enter the name of the procedure modifier, preferably using a single or partial word identifier (such as "Repeat", or "Occup" for Occupational).
Select the field you wish to search across from the drop-down list in the Search In box (e.g., All Fields, Code, or Name).
Click the Find Now button to execute the search.

3. Once you find the procedure modifier code record, double-click on the record to view it; or click once on the record and then click the Open button.

4. To close the record, press the Esc key on your keyboard. This returns you to the Find Procedure Modifier browser.

5. To close the browser, press the Esc key again.
