Find Department

Follow these steps to find an existing department:

1.  On the Settings menu, click Departments. This opens the Find Department task (or browser), which displays a list of the departments associated with the practice.

2.  If necessary, use the Search Bar at the top of the browser to locate the department.

To search for a department record, do the following:

  • In the Look For box enter a single or partial word identifier (keyword) for the name or description of the department.

  • Select the field you wish to search across from the drop-down list in the Search In box (e.g., All fields, Department name, or Description).

  • Click the Find Now button to execute the search.

3.  Once you find the department, double-click on the record to view it; or click once on the record and then click the Open button.

4.  To close the record, press the Esc key on your keyboard. This returns you to the Find Department browser.

5.  To close the browser, press the Esc key again.
