Find Capitated Account
Follow these steps to find an existing capitated account:
1. On the Encounters menu, click Find Capitated Accounts. This opens the Find Capitated Account task (or browser), which lists all capitated accounts previously entered into the system.
2. If necessary, use the Search Bar at the top of the browser to locate the capitated account:
To search for a capitated account, do the following:
In the Look For box, enter a one or two-word identifier or number sequence that identifies the account.
Select the field to search across from the drop-down list in the Search In box (e.g., "All," "Capitated Account ID," or "Capitated Account Name").
Click Find Now to execute the search.
3. Once you find the account, double-click on the account to open it. Once the account is open, you can edit an existing payment, delete a payment, or add additional payments and apply the payment or a portion of the payment to the account (See Apply Payments to Capitated Account).
4. To close the Find Capitated Account browser, press the Esc key on your keyboard.
