Encounter Forms Setup

Use the Encounter Forms task to set up encounter forms for the medical practice. Encounter forms are similar to the preprinted superbills or fee tickets used by providers within a practice. Basically, they are templates for the diagnoses and procedures codes typically used during encounters with patients.

You can set up multiple encounter forms within the application. If there are several providers within a practice, you can set up an encounter form for each of the providers, or use one encounter form for the entire practice.

It is easy to set up encounter forms and can significantly cut down on the data entry time for staff members who enter encounters into the system. Once set up, the encounter forms can be printed with the practice name, the provider's name, the patient's demographic information, the date of the encounter, and more, directly from the Daily Calendar view or from the Encounters menu; therefore eliminating the need for a provider or a staff member to manually fill in this information on the day of the encounter.
