Encounter for a Patient

You can create an encounter for a patient from the Menu Bar or directly from the Edit Patient task. The steps are basically the same; the only difference being that rather than having to go through the Menu Bar and following the steps to find a patient, if you already have a patient record open, you can enter a new encounter directly from the Edit Patient task by clicking the Create Encounter button on the Task Button Bar.
