Edit Patient's Collection Category

To place an existing patient in a different collection category other than the default category, a user can access the Patient record, navigate to the "Account" tab, click theChange Collection Categorybutton on the bottom of the screen to open the collection category panel, and then select the collection category from the drop-down list of predefined categories. Once selected, click theOKbutton on the right of the panel.

Note that once a patient has been placed in a specific collection category, all settings related to that collection category will apply to the patient record. (To learn what information might be entered in a collection category, see New Collection Category.)

You can change the patient's collection category at any time. (In other words, if a patient has been placed in a specific collection category other than the default category, and then the patient's account becomes current again, you can always change the patient's collection category back to the default category).
