Delete Department

Follow these steps to delete an existing department:

1.  On theSettingsmenu, clickDepartments.This opens theFind Departmenttask (or browser), which displays a list of the departments associated with the practice.

2.  If necessary, use the Search Bar at the top of the browser to locate the department. (For help in locating a department, refer to the relevant steps in Find Department.)

3.  Once you find the department, click once on the record and then click theDeletebutton.

Note: You can only delete a department if there are no previous activities associated with the department. If you try to delete a department when there are previous activities associated with it, you will receive a message stating that the record cannot be deleted.

4.  To close the Find Department browser, press the Esc key.
