Automated Email Performance Reports

You can now keep your physicians up-to-date on their practice performance with Kareo's new performance reports delivered automatically by email on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. It reports both practice and/or provider-specific key indicators including patients, encounters, charges, payments, A/R balance, and days revenue outstanding. You can delay the delivery of the reports by a configurable number of days after the end of a period (i.e. 10th day after the end of the month). You can also carbon copy (CC) one or more recipients to receive copies of the report. To start receiving email reports, you activate each provider on the system by selecting the menu item Settings > Providers, then opening a Provider record and clicking on the Provider Performance Report tab to configure your settings. The emails are delivered between midnight and 3am Pacific Time on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. |
Practice Dashboard with Payment Velocity Gauge

At Kareo, we're focused on getting physicians paid quickly. That's why we have introduced a single number to help you measure and improve the health of your practice. We call it Payment Velocity and it measures how fast you get paid from patients and insurance companies. You can now view your Payment Velocity benchmarked on your Practice Home dashboard against the best Payment Velocity across the Kareo community. New Days Revenue Outstanding Analysis Report

Want to know the detail behind your Days Revenue Outstanding metric? That's what the new Days Revenue Outstanding report is all about. Located in the Reports > Key Indicators menu, the new Days Revenue Outstanding report shows a detailed analysis of all of the transactions that roll up to your DRO. You can run the report by Post Date or Service Date. You can filter by Rendering Provider, Scheduling Provider, Service Location, Department, Payer Scenario, Insurance Company, Insurance Plan, Diagnosis, Procedure, and Batch #. You can group by Rendering Provider, Scheduling Provider, Service Location, Department, Payer Scenario, Insurance Company, and Insurance Plan. Diagnosis Codes Updated to 2008 ICD-9 Codes

The diagnosis codes have been updated with the new 2008 ICD-9 code set. For more information on using diagnosis codes, refer to the help topic Setting Up the Company > Managing Codes in the Online Help and User Manual. |
Optionally Print Settled Claims

You can now optionally included settled charges when printing paper claims. To include settled charges on your claims, select the menu item Encounters > Print Paper Claims, then check the "Included Settled Claims" box and click the Print Claims button. |
Eliminated Error When Saving Exported Reports

In certain rare scenarios when exporting reports to Excel and CSV format, there was an error that displayed which prevented export. This bug has been fixed.
Added Permission for Company-Level Clearinghouse Reports

Prior to this release, a single security permission governed access to clearinghouse reports and there was no way to give a user access to view only clearinghouse reports associated with one practice. This has been fixed and a new permission has been added.
Rounding Charge Units Based on Minutes

When calculating units based on minutes, the units are now rounded to 1 decimal point.
Fixed Claim Printing to Print Employer Correctly

Prior to this release, the insurance policy employer information was not printing correctly on claims if patient relationship to insured was set to "Self". This problem has been fixed.
Elimated Duplicate Appointments in Some Scenarios

Prior to this release, Kareo was creating duplicate appointment in certain rare scenarios. This problem has been fixed.
Stop Printing CMS Forms for Inactive Workers' Comp Policies

Prior to this release, Kareo was printing CMS forms for inactive workers' compensation policies. This has been corrected.
