Compensation: $50,000 – 70,000 on-target earnings plus benefits

Position
The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for assisting one of Kareo’s reseller partner’s sales team in advancing sales opportunities by working closely with their designated territory sales team(s). The primary functions of this position are to increase sales of Kareo’s services through this particular distribution channel, execute on our 2012 strategic plan by aligning yourself with the reseller’s regional teams and Kareo’s National Account Executive (who will be working in the field) and by providing sales discoveries and product demonstrations (delivered virtually from our Irvine offices). In addition, the Product Sales Specialist will play a key role in providing feedback and input to sales pipelines and will become an advocate for the partner’s regional sales teams.
Responsibilities
The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for being the professional, primary point of contact to Kareo’s largest reseller partnership.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Identify the sales opportunity and their current pain points through a sales discovery process
- Masterfully deliver product demonstrations to increase sales close ratios
- Champion the development of a better working relationship with the partner’s regional sales teams
- Increase sales generated by the channel partner
- Align with partner’s sales representatives by becoming an ally and product expert
- Assist in pipeline management
- Communicate professionally with both the partner and internally at Kareo
Qualifications and Characteristics
The successful candidate for the Product Sales Specialist position will be professional, consultative and influential. The candidate will enjoy and take pride in delivering exceptional strategic and operation guidance and support.
Key attributes of the successful candidate will include:
- Experience with healthcare technology
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry, specifically: software, medical billing and overall medical practice workflows
- Knowledge of computers and basic office software applications
- Knowledge of sales demonstration and/or healthcare technology functionality
- Excellent typing skills (40 words per minute or greater)
- Knowledge of customer relationship management systems preferred but not required
- Knowledge of advanced office telephone systems preferred but not required
Education Requirements
A College degree is preferred or 5+ industry experience.
Compensation
- $50,000 to $60,000 per year base salary
- $10,000 per year bonus opportunity based on hitting sales and customer retention goals on a quarterly basis.
